Hi, I'm Ben Keys
I'm an ambitious, multifaceted, and tenacious developer. I've been building experience since 2019, primarily front-end development (particularly iOS and web), but I'm also venturing into backend work. I spent 7+ years working in radio, graphic design, and videography, where I picked up a wide range of skills. I graduated from Ball State University in Fall 2023 and am looking for new opportunities to learn more every day.
After hours, you can find me rock climbing. I'm in love with both the sport and the community. I've been climbing indoors for six years, outdoors for two years, and now I'm learning to trad climb. I'm always looking for other climbers (or soon-to-be climbers) to adventure with!

Problem-solving is an inherent aspect of my work ethic. I possess an innate talent for recognizing and tackling even the most challenging issues, particularly those others overlook. By taking this approach, I have been able to refine my skills and expand my knowledge base to overcome any obstacles that come my way.
Since a young age, I have dedicated my free time to teaching myself a diverse range of skills. Initially, I began my journey by immersing myself in graphic design, which eventually paved the way for my entry into the world of programming. With my extensive skill set and aptitude for rapid learning, I have developed a versatile collection of competencies that make me a valuable asset in any project or team.
My ability to recognize patterns plays a significant role in the way I approach problem-solving. It’s helped me develop a sharp intuition and made me highly perceptive in my work. My pattern recognition skills are a vital asset in my work, allowing me to excel in various technical disciplines.
